Owner: Municipality of Anchorage

Crews and equipment were mobilized to Anchorage, AK via plane and ocean going vessel to install five MPM anode sleds with cables, 10 sections of super strong rope, five concrete dead man anchors, sandbags along the trench, rectifiers, junction boxes and all topside cabinetry. Anode installation was a staged process with a combination at low tide with an excavator and high tide using lift bags. High current and tidal fluctuations were the most challenging part of this project. There was up to a 38ft tidal exchange during the course of this project.
